Generally, the weakest part of a wall will crack when there is a shifting in the foundation or a settling of the earth below ground level. Oftentimes, the weakest area of a brick wall is between openings for windows and doors. Cracks, however, can appear anywhere.

What Can You Do?
When a crack in a masonry or brick wall can be repaired, it is generally a simple process. We will remove enough of the mortar or material in the crack to allow us to repoint (fill in with new mortar) the void. This will prevent water, bugs and other things from entering the wall. If there is a specific mortar tint, colour, or texture, we will do our best to blend our new material with whats already there.
